Elecraft K2 QRP operators have requested a charger that would work well with the 2.9 A-hr gel cell option that Elecraft offers. We responded with our Switchable QRP version.
We will add the circuitry and a front panel mounted toggle switch that allows you to switch between any two of the following current levels: 1.0 Amp, 3/4 Amp, 1/2 Amp or 1/4 Amp. The front panel will be labeled with preprinted tape as in the photos above and below. The cost would be $10 more than our standard assembled unit. To order specify 150-QRP and specify which two current levels you desire. If you would also like the Anderson Pigtail Option, add $5 more. Allow about 7 - 14 additional working days for us to build and ship your custom QRP Smart Battery Charger.
The cost is $5 more than our standard KIT. To order specify 150-KIT w/QRP MOD. We will drill the extra chassis holes. Items included in the QRP MOD consist of: instructions, toggle switch, extra wire, front panel labels (sticker) and all the resistors required to implement any of the 4 current levels stated above.
